Obey your husband, but don't obey him of he ask you to do unlawful or disobedience to Allah
Abu Hurayrah(R.A) narrated "When Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was asked which woman was best he replied, "The one who pleases (her husband) when he looks at her, obeys him when he gives a (lawful) command, and does not go against his wishes regarding her person or property by doing anything of which he disapproves." Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3272.
In another report by Imam Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 286 Narrated by Umm Salamah, The Prophet (saws) said: ‘If a woman dies while her husband was pleased with her, she will enter Paradise.
BUT
Imam Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3696, Narrated by An-Nawwas ibn Sam'an(RA) Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "A creature is not to be obeyed when it involves disobedience to the Creator (Allah)
"Respected sisters in Islam, the same Allah and His Messenger (saws) who have guided the believing wife to be devoutly obedient to the lawful commands of her husband have absolutely and categorically forbidden the believers to obey any command from anyone in creation including the husband if it involves disobedience of the Lord Creator! Regardless of whosoever it may happen to be…be it one’s elders, or even one’s own parents or one’s husband, etc….if the command or order they give is against the Command and Guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws)….that unlawful command of theirs must be rejected and not obeyed in the least even if that will result to divorce or been disowned by parents as Allah owns us all and will provide our needs if obeyed.
So let's stop buying lotto tickets for or parents, let's stop buying alcohol and non Islamic items for whoever request it from us and make it clear to them, ALLAH and His Messenger forbade that as such cannot do that.
May ALLAH aid us to obey His commands
