BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Let's continue from the first Reminder.
Allah has informed us that the coming of the Prophet was written in the original text of the Torah and Gospel.
Allah says: They are those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him, it is those who will be the successful. Surah Al-A’raf 7:157-158.
Thus, we have a clear prediction of Muhammad in the existing text of the Torah attributed to Moses, peace be upon him.
The Book of Deuteronomy states: Allah says; I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren, and I will put my words in his mouth and he shall speak to them all that I command him. And whoever will not give heed to my words which he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him. Deuteronomy 18:18-19.
The Torah informed the Jews of the coming of a prophet “from among their brethren,” which likely refers to the descendants of Ishmael. Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam said and the Arabs are the descendants of Ishmael, the brother of Isaac, and thus are closely related to the Jews.
This new prophet would be “like you,” meaning Moses. Muhammad and Moses share many characteristics, such as the parallels between the Hijrah and the Exodus, the revelation of their laws and scriptures, and their confronting and defeating the tyranny of Pharaoh and Abu Jahl.
Furthermore, this prophet “ I will put MY words in his mouth,” the precise and unchanging words of Allah. The Noble Quran is indeed the word of Allah “which he shall speak in MY name,” preserved in its original language without having been corrupted by the scribes.
Allah says in the Quran:
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted from disbelief until there came to them clear evidence, a messenger from ALLAH reciting purified scriptures within which are upright writings. Surah Al-Bayyinah 98:1-3.
The Jews were further given criteria by which they could judge false prophets from true prophets, and we find that Muhammad did not meet the fate of a false prophet.
The Book of Deuteronomy states:
But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die. And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word which the Lord has not spoken? When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word which the Lord has not spoken, the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you need not be afraid of him. Deutoronomy 18:20-21.
Indeed, all false prophets are eventually exposed and Allah provides abundant signs of their deception.
Allah says: If Muhammad had made up about Us some false sayings, We would have seized him by the right hand. Then We would have cut from him the artery, and there is no one of you who could prevent it from him. Surah Al-Haqqah 69:44-47. Allahu Akbar.
However, Muhammad was entirely successful in his prophetic mission to bring monotheism to the world and to preserve the Noble Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah, as more and more people embrace Islam every day. AlhamdulilLah.
